Hi Guys,
So here is where you can ask GoldDigger ANYTHING! When we're out on tour or in schools we get asked loads of questions from you guys, so we thought we'd answer them right here on our lovelt forum!
It can be deep and meaningful, or silly and a bit strange, all questions are good!
And there'll be a PRIZE from our very own GoldDigger shop for the best question so make sure you get submitting them soon!!

aaagh ... thats a bit scary! If you're thinking of getting some sneaky help with your quantum physics I'd go to wikipedia rather than me... but we'll answer most other things!!

Mandy, that is very sad indeed... i nearly bought some when we were down in Kent too...
My fave WAS the vanilla cake but they've gone and discontinued :( so it's probably now a maple iced, but i'm excited about the new special editions (saying that i never had a strawberry iced this summer and they looked pretty good!!

do you think god is angry or upset with us when we're having one of those days where everytime we look in the mirror we feel ugly, unwanted etc. even though we're not? :):)

Hey Laura! Thanks for the questions! I think it's really good to think about how God feels about us and especially in relation to how we feel about our selves and the situations we are in. The bible says that God absolutely, 100% loves us more than anything else in the world, so much that even when we do really bad, stupid things he STILL absolutely loves us! If that is true then I don't think he would get mad with us just because we feel down about ourselves. I think he just feels gutted that you go through so much pain and is really sad to see his beautiful creation suffering and believing that they aren't all the amazing things he created you to be. God totally knows how this world works and knows and understands the pressures on us to look a certain way and be a certain way and I know he is just really sad to see us suffering under these pressures and hating ourselves. Especially when most of what we think, isn't even true. He just wants to see us released to be the amazing unique girls he's created us to be!! Which is pretty awesome I think! If you have a bible try reading psalm 139 to see how God feels about you :)

Hey Laura - great answer there from Rach - I totally agree -I think it does make him sad - just cos he knows we're missing out and believe stuff that is not true instead of understanding what we can be.
What would I do if I wasn't in GoldDigger? Thats a tough question! I just love to be creative... I'd love to have a big studio/warehouse and make things and draw and design things, make clothes and I'd end up having to write songs as I love that so much too - but i get to do all of those things like design and songwriting in GoldDigger anyway... also if I did that I would miss spending time teaching girls... so I'd have to be in GoldDigger again!

Wow these are really good questions...
I totally agree with the girls about the first question, when i was a teenager, I really struggled with not liking who I was, but now I know that God really loved me throughout, he was just gutted that I wasn't seeing who i really was...
But what would i do if i wasn't in GoldDigger?? Great question! hummm it changes but either I'd be a Clinical Psychologist working with Children and teenagers (that's in an imaginary world where I can do what I like without having to have studied it for the last 10 years...) or in the normal real world, I'd probably be working for a church or another Christian charity... or new "wish i'd done that" for the week would be studying at Wheaton College in America :)

Hey :) I became a Christian when I was about 13. I used to hate all things to do with church and God - and used to be nasty to my friends who were Christians cos it used to bug me that they seemed so sure. So I just used to try to debate with them to prove them wrong, and read loads of stuff on Jesus and just kind of found that there was nothing I really could argue with and maybe it was true. About a year later I went to a meeting where I prayed for my friend to be healed of a really bad back problem - it was the most crazy and mind-blowing thing cos he was healed - and I knew I couldn't have done that - but it struck me that that shouldn't be such a big deal - if I believed God made the world from nothing - I should easily believe God can do amazing stuff today... but I don't think I'd ever asked! That was kind of the start of it all for me :)

They are really good hollihunni xx great that you can write how you feel in a song... it helps you to work stuff out doesnt it :) It is really hard when that happens... and sometimes its just because both of you are changing and becoming more and more different to each other... either you'll find new friends who are more similar to you or else you guys will work things out and stay close... some of my best friends are people I hardly get to see but when we get together we are just such good friends that we dont have to try and just click strait away... friends like that are great!

i was at minehead in distinctive this year-you were AMAZING!!!! will you ever go to schools anywhere other than sheffield coz it would be so cool if you came to our school and told people about the Lord and sund some of your songs. by the way, i bought one of your dowload cards for the single and the web address on it (music/golddigger.org.uk/yum) doesnt work. can you tell me how to use it please!!!

Glad you had such a good time. We do go all over the place so do look out for us coming to a place near you or tell the head of PSHE in your school to book us to come in for a day. :)
Make sure you type music.golddigger.org.uk/yum... its not a / inbetween... and make sure theres no www. either... its just the address that'll be typed in wrong. The site is all in working order xx

Ok...Emz... I think I told my youth leader and my friends in my youth group first and then my friends at school. That was a bit harder but actually they were all ok about it after all and asked me some good questions - which was good for me to have to explain why I'd done it. I'm not sure how to describe how I felt other than the amazing feeling of knowing that God was there and real in my life and not some distant idea as I'd thought before. When you've been a Christian a long time you forget what it was ever like to not know God being with you actually!
Naomi - I guess I've answered the bit about friends... some of them asked a lot of questions.. but then so did I before I became a Christian and I argued about it too - so that's only normal!
I'm inspired mainly by some of my really good friends... I get inspired by people I know really well cos I know how they handle tough things and don't just see the good times. My nannan was amazing...she lived with me all through my childhood but died when I was 18 but was the most kind and amazing person I've ever know. She inspires me loads.

Hi Beth this is Jess you prayed for me at Spring Harvest, do you remember me you and mandy are awesome and I really admire you both for spreading god's word in such a productive way. My question for you is do you ever just want to give up believing because you have alot of stuff going on is it bad to put your relationship with god on hold while you get your life back on track?
