Session Overview
1. You Have Been Chosen
An introduction to the course, and getting to know the other amazing girls! Find out your personality type and why it’s it is a design feature that you are different to other people not a mistake!
2. Beautilicious
Most girls if not every single one of us have low self esteem either everyday or just on bad days. Why? We don’t need to feel so bad about ourselves! This session we’ll be exposing some of the pressures on us for what they are, asking how beauty is defined, and how our own worst enemy may well be our own mind.
3. Fashion Victim
We’re discussing fashion, the media and our self image. Who decides the kinds of things we wear? Are we really in control or does the media have more influence than we realise? What messages do our clothes send out, particularly to guys? We’ll look at how we can enjoy clothes, look great and be the girl we want to be!
4. Bezzy Mate, Love or Hate
What makes a good relationship? This session will give you the opportunity to discover the building blocks for a great friendship or romance. We are all different, we all give different things to a relationship and we all need to receive in our own individual way – discover what these things are and this will help you to understand the pitfalls and the opportunities that your relationships may have.
5. Sex and the Nitty-Gritty
Attitudes, values, pressures, the glamour the media portrays but most important – the reality. People don’t tend to talk about sex – it’s a taboo subject but the media shout about it all the time. – Are we getting the right messages from them or are we getting a distorted view. Here we’ll look at the image vs the reality.
6. Right Sex/Wrong Sex
The emotions, the relationship and the right time. These things are our very own choices and we are entitled to give them the most attentive and careful consideration. So many girls make huge decisions about their sexual activity whist drunk or whilst feeling insecure and under pressure and make choices in 5 seconds that they may not have made in the cold light of day. This session aims to give you a piece of ‘the cold light of day’ to have space to work out exactly what is right for you and to get the confidence and assurance to live out your own ideals from this point onwards.
7. Dreams, Quests and Prince Charming
Boys, Boys Boys. Who is our Prince Charming and do we have to settle for anyone less than perfect??! How we can absolutely love being single and discussion about whether flirting is harmless fun or dangerous business??! You’ll get chance piece together key things you’ve decided and discovered through the sessions and take away a confidence to be exactly the girl you want to be!
8. The Final Celebration
The last session is packed with goodies and surprises- a fantastic way to finish off the course and take away what's been learnt. We say no more!
